Daniel’s career in real estate has spanned two decades in which he has structured and financed over $500 million of real estate transactions on both sides of the Atlantic.
Daniel founded Seagram Properties in 2007 and over the last decade has acquired, developed and restructured over 20 iconic properties.
Partnering with some of the most active global financial institutions as well as investors, he has a proven track record with IRRs exceeding 25% and equity multiples of 2.4x.
In an advisory capacity Daniel has assisted Fortune 500 Companies as well as some of the UK’s largest Public Companies and Real Estate Funds in acquiring and repositioning major assets.
Daniel’s active and entrepreneurial abilities have allowed him to adapt to market cycles, while always searching for new opportunities to create value and achieve superior risk adjusted returns.
From 2001-2007, Daniel was Executive Managing Director of Grubb & Ellis in New York where he consummated transactions in excess of 2,000,000 square feet. There he developed complex Real Estate strategies for numerous governmental, financial, medical and educational institutions.
A former Harvard Teaching Fellow, Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Brandeis University and is actively involved in many Real Estate and Charitable Organizations including the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, Young Jewish Professionals, (YJP), the American Friends of ITIM where he serves as Treasurer and the Real Estate Committee of The Jewish Board.
He lives on the Upper East side with his wife and three children.
