Seagram Properties
​
Founded in 2007, Seagram Properties is an innovative real estate focused Family Office that develops, repositions and asset manages quality Real Estate in some of the world’s most vibrant and exciting locales, principally New York and London.
​
We own and manage a portfolio of upscale multifamily and commercial properties in excellent locations with a diverse and high caliber tenant mix. The firm has been involved in transactions worth over $500 million since inception. As a Family Office we are fully invested in and committed to the success of each of our projects and we typically hold for the long term.

We have a value add, core-plus focus and are ahead of the curve in identifying opportunities and in reading the market. Driven by good design inside and out, we have a reputation as market innovators, creating and building quality assets where people want to live and work.

What we do
We typically purchase well-located but under performing, operationally inefficient or distressed market assets, between $2-$50 million and utilize our expertise in architecture, construction and design to re-position and add value. We also conceive and construct quality and innovative ground-up developments.

We are nimble and we are intuitive and we know how to read the market. We believe that good design is paramount, not only in architecture, function and flow, but also in attention to detail, from a faucet in a bathroom to the art in our lobbies.

From a boutique studio to a penthouse duplex or townhouse, the focus is always on excellence in design and how to create trendsetting living and working spaces that are functional and comfortable, whilst respecting a building’s history and heritage.

About Daniel Conway
Daniel Conway, Ph.D., SIOR
Principal
Daniel’s career in real estate has spanned two decades in which he has structured and financed over $500 million of real estate transactions on both sides of the Atlantic.
Daniel founded Seagram Properties in 2007 and over the last decade has acquired, developed and restructured over 20 iconic properties.
Partnering with some of the most active global financial institutions as well as investors, he has a proven track record with IRRs exceeding 25% and equity multiples of 2.4x.
In an advisory capacity Daniel has assisted Fortune 500 Companies as well as some of the UK’s largest Public Companies and Real Estate Funds in acquiring and repositioning major assets.
Daniel’s active and entrepreneurial abilities have allowed him to adapt to market cycles, while always searching for new opportunities to create value and achieve superior risk adjusted returns.

From 2001-2007, Daniel was Executive Managing Director of Grubb & Ellis in New York where he consummated transactions in excess of 2,000,000 square feet. There he developed complex Real Estate strategies for numerous governmental, financial, medical and educational institutions.
A former Harvard Teaching Fellow, Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Brandeis University and is actively involved in many Real Estate and Charitable Organizations including the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, Young Jewish Professionals, (YJP), the American Friends of ITIM where he serves as Treasurer and the Real Estate Committee of The Jewish Board.
He lives on the Upper East side with his wife and three children.
